30th January 2007 - Focus overturns unlawful actions by UK EAPA

Our unlawful suspension was finally lifted in August 2006 and we have been full and active members of the Association since then.

Compensation for their unlawful actions has now been settled together with payment of our legal costs.

The independent professional "audit" which we had carried out, as part of our response to this dispute, showed that we continue to offer the highest standards of EAP service, which is something we regard as being at the core of our business philosophy and which made the dispute with the "powers that be" at the UK EAPA all the more disturbing and frustrating.

During this period we were also awarded accreditation of our services by the Council on Accreditation and continue to be the first and only counselling provider in Europe to achieve this high standard.

We are delighted that this episode has now been resolved to our satisfaction
